Appointment Information

PLEASE NOTE: ALL PATIENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR MASKS WITHIN THE CLINIC.

Appointments can be made using the above Book Appointment link to HotDoc. You will be asked to fill out two online forms which are required to confirm your appointment. If further information is required reception will contact you.

 

If you are unable to book via HotDoc please call 02 5101 4016 or email reception@braddonskincancerclinic.com.au.

If you believe you need to be seen more urgently for a Lesion of Concern please book the next available appointment but also call or email regarding your concerns so that staff can get details from you. Dr Mya and Dr Fong triage all urgent requests and referrals and will attempt to see you within an appropriate timeframe, appointment availability may vary.  Please see your GP if you believe you have an urgent concern.

Appointment Cancellations 

For any appointment cancellations please call Reception on (02) 5101 4016 . Please contact Reception as soon as possible, as Non-attendance and cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $250 fee. 

If you test positive for Covid-19 or have cold or flu symptoms please inform reception as soon as possible and have your appointment rescheduled. This is to keep staff and other patients safe and healthy.

Fee information

Please read the following fee structure for appointments with Dr Mya, Dr Fong and Dr Giam and Dr Asif.

You are required to consent to the doctor' fees prior to your appointment.

Do note that fees are the same for all patient appointments, including DVA and concession card holders.

Standard skin check appointments are 30 minutes

MEDICARE REBATES

When you pay for your appointment, normally your Medicare rebate can be processed instantly. The rebate will be credited to your debit card or the bank account linked to your Medicare record.

If you’ve reached your annual Medicare Safety Net threshold, your out-of-pocket expenses may be lower than standard fees.


Please let our reception team know if you’ve reached your threshold.

Patients Without a Medicare Card

If you don’t hold a valid Medicare card including international visitors your consultation fee will depend on several factors, such as:

  • The reason for your visit

  • The length of your consultation

  • Whether you have private health insurance

THE BIOPSY AND CURETTE PROCEDURES QUOTED ABOVE ARE WITH NO SUTURES. LARGER OR MORE COMPLICATED BIOPSIES REQUIRING STITCHES HAVE A LARGER GAP FEE. 

Any additional procedure items will incur an additional fee charged in proportion to the medicare rebate. You can request a detailed quote prior to your procedure.
