Important Update: Braddon Skin Cancer Clinic Fee Changes Effective 1st September 2025

At Braddon Skin Cancer Clinic, we remain committed to providing the highest standard of care for all our patients. To continue offering quality services and ensuring we can meet the growing needs of our community, we will be making a small adjustment to our consultation fees.

From Monday, 1st September 2025, our fees will be increasing.

We understand that changes to fees can impact patients, and this decision has been made carefully after considering rising operational and medical costs. By updating our fees, we can continue to:

  • Provide longer and more comprehensive consultations

  • Maintain access to the latest diagnostic and treatment technologies

  • Attract and retain highly skilled medical professionals

  • Ensure our clinic remains accessible and sustainable into the future

What this means for you

  • The updated fees will apply to all consultations and procedures from 1st September 2025.

  • Medicare rebates will continue to apply where eligible.

  • Our reception team will be happy to provide you with an updated fee schedule and answer any questions you may have prior to your appointment.

MEDICARE REBATES

When you pay for your appointment, normally your Medicare rebate can be processed instantly. The rebate will be credited to your debit card or the bank account linked to your Medicare record.

If you’ve reached your annual Medicare Safety Net threshold, your out-of-pocket expenses may be lower than standard fees.

Please let our reception team know if you’ve reached your threshold.

For more information, visit the Medicare website and search for “thresholds.”

Patients Without a Medicare Card

If you don’t hold a valid Medicare card including international visitors your consultation fee will depend on several factors, such as:

  • The reason for your visit

  • The length of your consultation

  • Whether you have private health insurance

For further assistance, please speak with our friendly reception team.
